Auburn Fans Disappointed Again

It was a tough weekend for these Auburn fans. Last week they called for a change in quarterback, and it didn’t really help very much. But the Auburn Tigers have not lost any fans yet.

“My whole family went to Auburn. We have very deep roots with Auburn. I attended Auburn,” Shae Gentry shared. Gentry lives in California with his family and was able to make it to a home game this season. He was not too thrilled with the final score of the game.

“It’s a tough… It’s heartbreaking,” Gentry said. “Especially for a true fan… The team definitely has some rebuilding to do, they’ve got a long way to go. But we’ll get there. It’s just going to take time.”

Other fans echoed Gentry’s comments. Overall, most were saying they thought the quarterback change was a good thing.

“Oh, it was pretty good,” one fan shared. “Better than last week! It’s getting better. Sean White I think played better than Jeremy Johnson.”

Another fan added: “Maybe they’ll mix the quarterbacks up in certain situations and come out with a game plan that will benefit Auburn.”

“I thought we did better, I though the quarterback change was needed,” Gentry said. “I think that Sean White did an excellent job for his first time getting the call to be the quarterback.”

One fan says the whole family was upset by the loss. “They have a dog, my mom and sister, they have a dog that whenever they yell touchdown Auburn this dog goes crazy. So they dog was very disappointed in the game,” Scott Dorrough said with a laugh.

Fans like Gentry are moving on from the loss and looking forward to a win very soon. They just want to say one more “War Eagle!” to their fellow fans.

And for a not so fun fact, this is the first game since Gus Malzon has been the head coach that no one on his team has scored a touchdown.
