15th Annual Wag and Walk Held in Blount Cultural Park
Animal lovers and their pets from across Montgomery came together at Blount Cultural Park for the 15th annual Wag and Walk.
More than a hundred people came out to the park to take their furry friends on a one-mile pledge walk. There was a silent auction as well to help raise money for the Montgomery Humane Society. There were plenty of events for both the pets and their humans, like the 50-yard doggy dash, and contests for best doggy singing voice, longest tail, and best Halloween costume.
The event helps raise money to help support the nearly 9,000 homeless animals in the Montgomery area. So far, they have raised $16,000.
