The city of Montgomery has announced the events for the 60th Anniversary Montgomery Bus Boycott.

After months of planning and preparations. The city of Montgomery released the schedule of events for the 60th anniversary of the montgomery bus boycott. The Montgomery Improvement Association, an organization that played a major role in fighting segregation during the bus boycott, announced the schedule for the 60th anniversary of the commemoration of the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Alabama State, Tuskegee University, Troy University, and others played a major role in planning the upcoming events, and themes for the nine day Commemoration. Officials have made it clear, the main theme will be geared toward the youth.
