Jabronski Williams Wins Capitol Hyundai High School Player of Year

Alabama News Network is recognizing a local high school football player for his accomplishments this season.

Alabama News Network is recognizing a local high school football player for his accomplishments this season.

The viewers voted and this year’s Capitol Hyundai High School Player of the Year is Charles Henderson’s Jabronski Williams. Jabronski Williams received the most votes out of nine finalists. His performance in a playoff clinching game earned him the nod. He ran for over 200 yards with five touchdowns sending Charles Henderson to the playoffs.

Jabronski Williams, Capitol Hyundai High School Player of the Year said, “The city of Troy they helped me out a lot, my school, my teammates, my teachers faculty and staff. My family members helped me out I got a lot of votes and I got a lot of love and I really appreciate everyone who voted for me.”

On top of this trophy, Williams earned a $2,500 scholarship from Capitol Hyundai. He says it’s been his dream since pee wee football to play at the college level. He will be graduating next year.
