Salvation Army Distributes Toys For Children In Need

Alabama News Network is proud to be apart of an ongoing effort with the Salvation Army, giving many children a Christmas they’ll never forget.

Thanks to the kindness of viewers at home and our wonderful sponsors, including Capital Hyundai, Harley Davidson of Montgomery, Performance Auto, I Heart Radio and United Food and Fuel, the toys kept coming in, and now the toys are being sent out to families.
The need for children has increased since last year. The Salvation Army says they’ll SERVE 500 more children compared to last year. Salvation Army officials say 700 families will receive toys, 50 percent more than last year.
