Alabama’s blowout victory over Michigan State Thursday at the Cotton Bowl has Tide fans fired up and eyeing another national title.

Alabama was the only team from last year’s four-team playoff to make it back again this year.

The Crimson Tide put a beat-down on No. 3 Michigan State in the semifinal game New Year’s Eve night — shutting out the Spartans 38 to nothing.

John Solomon of Selma is a big-time Crimson Tide fan.

“I thought they would score and I thought it would be a lot closer game because of the way they could play defense but it didn’t turnout that way. We completely dominated that game,” he said.

Alabama will take on the No. 1 ranked Clemson Tigers in the championship game in Glendale, Arizona on January 11th.
