Senator Shelby Comments on Obama’s Executive Order

2016 will be a busy year for political candidates vying to get re-elected November Election. One of those politicians up for re election is made a stop in the capital city this morning, United States Senator Richard Shelby.
Senator Shelby spent the morning speaking at the annual eggs and issues breakfast hosted by the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce.
Senator Shelby answered questions ranging from his term as senator, to what he plans to do in the legislative secession for 2016, as well as guns. President Obama Announced an executive order requiring gun sellers to do background checks. Senator Shelby is against the president’s order, he thinks the President is abusing his power.
“He’s issued more executive orders than any president I could remember in recent memory, because he cant get things through the congress. He’s not the king,” Says Shelby.
The Incumbent Senator will face former U.S. Marine Jonathan McConnell in the Republican Primary March first.
