It’s time for the big game and Tide fans are excited to see it played out on the big screen at the MPAC.
“Wow, what better way to watch a game than on the big screen? It’s better than being there. You don’t have to fight for a seat. You stand up to cheer and sit back down you gotta elbow you’re way back in. But we don’t have to do that here!” said Ginger Sanders.
Earlier in the evening, the MPAC offered a tailgate experience with hamburgers, hot dogs and wings getting fans pumped up for the game.
“I’m ready for our boys to bring home sweet 16. So I’m excited!” said Stephanie Godwin.
Fans say they had hoped to be in the championship this season, but at the beginning they weren’t so sure they would be.
“A little bit of rough stuff going on, but I’m glad they made it. Absolutely. They represent us here in Alabama, so Roll Tide Roll!” said Deborah Tyree.
“I’ve been pulling for Alabama all year. I was just praying they would get further and further. They finally made it to the national championship again. They were in it 2012, but you know we are very lucky to have them in it this time. So pleased they are here right now. Win or lose, Alabama has had a great season,” said Jason Tyree.
And they say they will cheer on the Tide to the very end.
“A fan is a fan is a fan. Whether we win.. whether we lose, Roll Tide!” said Sanders.
