Families and loved ones gathered to welcome them home with signs and banners. Our own Olivia Deas welcomed home her husband, Captain Jason Deas.
The airmen and their loved ones say they are couldn’t be happier.
Airman Laboris Williams says, “It feels great. It feels amazing. I’ve been waiting on this for a minute. Feel good.”
His mother, Linda Bowling says she was “overjoyed and so thankful to God that he made it back safe.”
There will be more reservists coming home Tuesday.
About 150 Reservists and C-130 aircraft will be returning total.
