Pedestrian Dies of Injuries after Being Struck in Montgomery

Montgomery police say a man has died of injuries he suffered after being hit by a car a week earlier.

Police say 44-year-old Michael Luster of Montgomery died Saturday, Jan. 30, a week after being hit. Police say he was struck in the 5900 block of Atlanta Highway on the night of Saturday, Jan. 23. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car wasn’t hurt. Police are now trying to figure out how the accident happened.
