Montgomery Police Investigating Fatal Crash

Montgomery police are investigating a fatal wreck that left a man dead.

Police say around 4:15 p.m. Monday, they and fire medics responded to a three-car crash at Atlanta Highway at Oldfield Drive. Officers say 77-year-old Lytle Allen of Montgomery was taken to a hospital with injuries that weren’t believed to be life-threatening, but later proved fatal. No one else was hurt.

Police are now looking into the cause of the wreck.
