Tornado Confirmed in Northwest Covington County
The National Weather Service as confirmed a Tornado touched down Northwest Covington County in South Alabama at about 5 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Sheriff’s officials say that a mobile home was destroyed, and a woman has been left with minor injuries.
According to Alabama Power, several customers in Central Alabama are without power as of 5:22 p.m.
100 customers are without service in Georgiana, 55 customers are without service in Hope Hull and 45 customers without service in Ramer.
