Law Makers Look Ahead to Budget

Lawmakers are expected to get some very important work done this week, giving us a first look at their solutions for this year’s budget. It took lawmakers two special sessions last year to come up with a fix for the state’s general fund.
That involved heavy cuts, and it looks like this year will be the same. The general fund starts in the senate this year, and committee members plan on bringing out the full budget on Wednesday.
