Alabama Power Reports Some Power Outages

Alabama Power is reporting some power outages in our area due to the severe weather.

At 10:00 p.m., Alabama Power says there were approximately 2,015 customers without service in central Alabama.  Those are concentrated in the following areas:

Montgomery – approximately 870 customers without service

Selma – approximately 570 customers

Camden – approximately 280 customers

Alabama Power says crews will work to restore service as soon as it is safe to do so.
