R.C. Hatch Girls Advance to Final Four

The Lady Bobcats win 50-43 over Lanett.

MONTGOMERY, AL — After trailing by two at halftime, the Lady Bobcats from R.C. Hatch surged in the second half for a 50-43 win over Lanett to advance to the Class 2A Final Four.

A 15 to 5 run in the third period led to the lady Bobcats victory. Ka’Lasha Patterson scored 8 of the 15 points in the third.

Patterson had 20 points and four rebounds total. Patiniquia Collins had 12 points and 8 rebounds. Clea Young had 8 points and 8 rebounds as well.

Lanett did pose a threat in the 4th going on a 10 to 4 point run to make it a 4-point game with under four minutes to go.

Atayia Bridges had a big game for Lanett totaling 23 points and 4 rebounds in the loss.

The R.C. Hatch girl’s basketball team will play Ider in the 2A semi-final round in Birmingham. Tip-off set for 6:00pm on February 29th.
