Wrap Up of Zoo Weekend in Montgomery
The Montgomery Zoo wrapped up the Fortieth annual Zoo Weekend Fundraiser.
There were bake sales and thousands of people showed up over the weekend, despite the threat of rainy weather.
This fundraiser is where much of the money for Zoo renovations comes from, Including the popular otter and African Elephant exhibit.
The money from this year’s weekend will be used to build an interactive stingray exhibit, something Zoo officials think will give a better overall experience.
