Early Morning Shooting Leaves 1 Dead in Montgomery

The Montgomery Police Department has initiated a homicide investigation following the shooting death Tuesday, March 15, of 18-year-old Kimo Anthony of Montgomery.

MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 1500 block of Gibson Street at about 3:45 a.m. after receiving a report that a subject had been shot. There, they located Anthony, who had sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding this fatal shooting are under investigation, and no arrests have been made. At this point in the investigation, no additional information is available for release.
