Arrest Made In Club Shooting That Left 3 Dead In Auburn
Auburn police have arrested 33-year-old Tarabien Cobb, age 33 for capital murder in connection with an Auburn club shooting. that left 3 dead.
Authorities say the shooting happened near Mr. D’s Lounge on Lee Rd. 83.
Police arrived at the club while shots were still being fired.
Police found three people dead at the scene. They were identified as Roderick L. Nelms, age 32, Jadarrion L. Spinks, age 25, and Recco R. Cobb, age 43, all from Auburn. Another 23-year-old victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound and taken to East Alabama Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Further investigation by Auburn Police determined that the shooting happened after an altercation inside the lodge. Shortly afterwards numerous shots were fired in the parking lot.
Tarabien Cobb was identified as a suspect, warrants were obtained for his arrest and he was taken into custody at a residence in Auburn with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
Tarabien Cobb was transported to the Lee County jail where he will be held without bond. The investigation is ongoing.
