Prattville Police Make Arrest in Death of Prattville Woman

Authorities have arrested a man in the death of a Prattville woman who was run over and killed by her own car.

Autauga County officials tell news outlets that they have arrested 30-year-old Willie Edward Foster Jr. on a murder charge in connection with the death of 72-year-old Carol Parker Nunnery on Monday.

Authorities say Nunnery died of blunt force trauma. Sheriff Joe Sedinger says her body was found on a road Tuesday afternoon.

Officials have not released details on Nunnery’s death.

Foster appeared in court Thursday. Court records state that his bond was set at $150,000. Sedinger says Foster confessed to the crime.

Nunnery was involved in a number of civic groups in Autauga County. Foster did yard work for her.
