Montgomery’s Habitat for Humanity Dedicates 86th Home

Montgomery’s Habitat for Humanity dedicated their 86th Saturday.

Doris Martin volunteered over 400 hours to complete the home for her family. The home was originally built in the 1940’s. It was later turned into a Nat King Cole Museum. Now, it’s renovated and back to residential status. She says she is proud to reside in a home that once filled with history.
“A lot of sweat went into this, some days I didn’t think I would make it but I’m here,” says homeowner Doris Martin.
