Brundidge Residents Voice Concerns on Galloway Park
Several Brundidge residents are voicing their concerns about Galloway Park.
Residents say there’s evidence of alcohol consumption at the playground, despite signs that say it’s not allowed. They also say they have seen people with drugs at the park. Speeding is also one of their concerns at the park. Street cameras monitor the park daily and the Brundidge Police Department also patrols the area. But residents believe that’s not enough.
“I requested speed bumps at the city council and as you can see there’s nothing been done about the speed bumps,” says Nancy Strugs of Brundidge.
Brundidge Police Chief Moses Davenport says if a person is caught with alcohol at the park, they will be banned from the park.
