Montgomery County Deputies Helping Auburn During Home Games
College football is just under two months away and colleges across the country are taking extra measures to make sure fans who attend game are safe. Auburn has decided to call on the help of Montgomery deputies to help this season. Montgomery County Commissioners signed off on an agreement with Auburn to allow Montgomery County Deputies to help assist the Auburn Police Department during the Tigers home football games this season. Under the agreement Deputies will be covered for pay by the Auburn Game day Law Enforcement Corporation Workmen’s Compensation Policy.
When it comes to safety Auburn and Alabama will have some changes for ticket holders. No backpacks, are allowed in Auburn football games. For Alabama football games, bags or purses must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC.
