Shots fired on Atlanta Highway leads to brief pursuit

According to the Montgomery Police Department, police responded to the 3400 Block of Atlanta Highway at around 12:38 a.m. in reference to shots fired.

While officers were in the area, they attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle possibly involved in the shooting.

The vehicle refused to stop, and a pursuit ensued before officers lost contact with the vehicle.

There have been no reported injuries. There is no further information at this time.
