Troy Food World Gives Back to Law Enforcement
Employees of Troy’s Food World spent the afternoon giving back to law enforcement.
Store manager Gary Grant says he wanted to show appreciation to officers with a picnic with food provided from the store. He says he wanted to reach out to officials with something different to show support for their work. In light of recent violence across the nation, Grant says it’s important to show officers that they are needed.
“They take care of us you know the community that shops here at food world you know without law enforcement and firefighters-we can’t. We have to have them,” says Grant.
The city’s fire department and EMS officials were also invited to the store’s officer appreciation picnic.
