Pastors and Troy Elementary Teachers Unite in Prayer

Teachers of Troy Elementary School and local pastors are making prayer the first priority before the school year begins.

Pastors and several teachers prayed throughout the halls of the school. Groups walked several classrooms, praying for wisdom and protection for students. They also pray that each students needs are met physically. Teachers say they are fortunate to have a support system of believers. Pastors believe it’s a time to spread more unity in the community.

“So many things are going on and as a group of believers we need to come together to show the community, show the city that there is a common bond,” says Jason Thomas.

Faculty and staff of Charles Henderson Middle School plan to pray with pastors Thursday at 4 pm. Charles Henderson High School’s service will be Monday, August 8th at 6:30 pm.
