Troy Mayoral and City Council Candidates Address Public

Candidates for mayor and city council in the city of troy had a chance to share their views with voters Thursday evening.

Candidates introduced themselves to voters in downtown Troy on the square. Questions from voters followed.
Each candidate was given a chance to answer all questions submitted by voters. Coordinators say this is the opportunity for voters to get to know their candidates better before the upcoming city election and ask questions on issues that are important in their districts.

If don’t vote then you shouldn’t complain about what’s going on and if you come out and vote you have a right to speak your opinions on whatever is going on,” says voter Mozell Moultry.

Troy’s city election is Tuesday, August 23rd.
