Bill Gillespie Re-Elected as Prattville Mayor

Voters in Prattville decided to re-elect Bill Gillespie to another 4 years in office.  He defeated challenger David Melling with 92% of the vote.

With his big win, Gillespie says it’s time to look to the next four years. Gillespie said he’s humbled by the confidence of voters in Prattville.  He says the city is better now than it was 4 year ago.

“The hard work is showing off.  Downtown hasn’t looked better in a long time, tourism and our revenues are up.  Prattville, we are in a great place,” Gillespie said.

Gillesspie says it’s time now to get back work.
