Jason Reeves Re-Elected Mayor of Troy
Troy city officials are pleased with voter turnout at the polls and they are excited to have Jason Reeves as Mayor once again.
Mayor Jason Reeves will now serve a 2nd term as Mayor of Troy. Reeves along with family and supporters, celebrated the victory at B-Graves Restaurant in downtown Troy. Reeves defeated Olanda Hardy and Raymond Sexton with 73 % of votes. Reeves says he is honored and humbled to serve Troy again.
“I think we’re moving in the right direction and obviously the voters agreed and we’re going to keep moving in that direction. We can always improve. We’re going to work everyday to get better- jobs and the quality of life,” says Reeves.
Officials say final numbers will be verified on Aug 30th at noon.
