Union Springs Animal Shelter Concerned for Stray Dog
Suspicious circumstances land one dog at the Union Springs Animal Shelter.
Shelter workers say the dog-Roger was found on the Highway 29 between Union Springs and Tuskegee Tuesday. They are concerned that a perfectly healthy dog was found in his crate with a toy. Shelter manager jennifer gallagher days the dog is one of many strays in Bullock County. It’s something she would like to see end. She say’s important for pet owners to sterilize and keep identification on their pets.
“It just makes my gut uneasy that this is possibly a dog that has grieving owner out there somewhere,” says Gallagher.
