MPD “cookie roadblock” video goes viral
A video featuring the Montgomery Police Department is going viral.
The video shows a “cookie roadblock” Wednesday in West Montgomery. Officers were out in the streets stopping cars and giving them girl scout cookies.
Chason Smitherman of Grow 334 shot and produced the video.
“It was just awesome to see what happened, just amazing,” he explained, “to see those officers out in the heat passing out cookies, the community it was just a cool thing.”
Smitherman is no stranger to viral videos. The blind hug experiment video he shot now has close to 6 million views.
