5th Annual River Region Prayer Walk

Hundreds of people spent the Saturday morning lifting each other in prayer in the streets of downtown Montgomery.

It was part of the 5th Annual River Region Prayer Walk. The annual event is focused on bringing people together in unity. The group also stopped to pray for local law enforcement. It was also a time to give back. Participants were encouraged to support Valiant Cross Academy at the walk by donating school supplies or uniforms. People attending say this walk comes at an important time, as the nation prepares for the upcoming election.

“The only way america can be healed is if the people of god pray, amen. So god says if we pray then he can heal our land. There’s no president, no matter who it is that’s elected, god alone can heal our land,” says Jacqueline Battle.

The annual walk is hosted by Beauty by Fire Ministries.
