City of Brundidge Elects New Mayor
The City of Brundidge also has a new mayor elect in town. Isabell Boyd defeated Cynthia Pearson in the city’s run-off election Tuesday.
Boyd received 55 percent of the vote. Pearson had 45 percent. Â Boyd says the first thing she has on her ‘to do’ list is making sure the city is ok financially and bettering the city’s nutrition center for the elderly.
“From there we can move forward and see what kind of grants we can apply for. what kind of face-lift this town can have and what what we can do to provide entertainment for the youth in this department,” says Boyd.
Boyd will  take office on November 7th.
