Montgomery Lions Club Hosts 13th Annual Chili Cook Off

Even though it wasn’t a cool day outside, it was still a perfect day to have some chili for a cause.

The Montgomery Lions Club 13th Annual Chili cook off was hosted Saturday at the riverfront downtown

All money raised will go to various charities across the river region.

This year Alabama News Network fielded a team with Ben Lang, Ryan Stinnett and Tim Lennox.

Our own Stefanie Hicks alongside State Trooper Steve Jarrett were judges for the event.

20 teams competed with Wind Creek Casino winning the on restaurant side and Evangel Christian Academy winning the competition over all.
