MPD Investigate Shooting Threat at MPS High School

On Wednesday, November 2nd around 9 p.m., MPD received an email containing a screenshot of a Facebook post threatening a shooting Thursday, Novemeber 3rd at a Montgomery Public Schools high school.

MPD detectives immediately began to investigate and quickly identified the suspect as  male juvenile who is a student at the school mentioned in the post.

The suspect was taken into custody overnight, charged with terrorist threat and was transported to the Montgomery County Youth Facility. The charge is a Class C felony.
