TUSKEGEE, Ala. (goldentigersports.com) — The Tuskegee University Tigerettes pulled away from the Chargers of the University of Alabama-Huntsville over the final two minutes to record their first victory of the season, 71-65, at Chappie James Arena Saturday night.
After a Loren Foster three-pointer tied the game at 59-all for UAH with 2:32 to play, the Tigerettes took over. Brownlee lead all scoreres with 28 points, including connecting on all nine of her free throws. With her output, she extended her consecutive game streak of double figure games to 27, while Taylor Miller scored in double figures with 17 on the night.
