Christmas Less Than a Week Away

Sunday marks only six more days until Christmas. If you haven’t started working on your holiday shopping list yet, you might want to hurry.

Retail workers say the stores at Eastdale Mall have been busy and crazy as usual during the holiday season. They also say the crowds are only going to get worse as the days get closer to Christmas, so if you still need to finish shopping you should get out sooner rather than later.

JCPenney General Manager Bridie Clinkscales adds that even though the time of the year is stressful, you should remember to thank the person helping you at the store.

“What we’re trying to do is make it an easy, fast, and fun check out. But we’re asking customers to be patient,” she says. “There’s a lot of people out shopping, and it is that time of the year. So we are working as hard and as fast as we can to take care of the customer and we will make sure that they get out in an efficient amount of time.”
