Troy University Student Dies in Florida Crash
A Troy University student has died in a Florida car crash, according to university officials.
Officials say 19-year-old Aslesha Pandit and three other students were traveling to Panama City Thursday afternoon, when they were involved in a three car crash near Ebro, Florida. Pandit later died at the hospital.
The university’s statement said in part, “our condolences are extended to her family, friends and our international student body. Her loss will be deeply felt.”
Pandit was from Nepal.
