Troy University Prepares for Annual Leadership Conference

Registration is open for Troy University’s Annual Leadership Conference.

It’s set to kick off February 3rd and ends on February 4th.  The annual conference encourages not only students but people in the community to be effective leaders. This year’s speakers are Bishop James Davis and radio host Rickey Smiley. The theme is “Overcoming the Crisis in Education – Reconnecting, Relevance, and Results.”

“It’s always an opportunity for individuals to come and reconnect, reestablish their relationships from the past and also an opportunity just to gain knowledge of some different things in education,” says Derrick Brewster, chair of this year’s conference.

Admission for the conference is $30 for the public and $15 for students.
