Goshen Elementary Students Partner with Christian Love Center
Friday, a group of students from Goshen Elementary joined the Christian Love Center in efforts to give back to the community.
It’s all part of the student’s kindness initiative. They are encouraging everyone to bring non-perishable items to school to donate to the Christian Love Center’s food pantry. The pantry, has been a resource for people throughout Pike County. Students say they want to get everyone at Goshen Elementary involved.
“We’re trying to help them have food, clothing, stuff like that-that protects them and things that make their day better,” Goshen Elementary Jada Orum.
Goshen elementary students will be collecting food to donate to the Christian Love Center’s food pantry from now until the end of the school year in May.
