Andalusia Woman Arrested for Vehicle Burglary
Andalusia Police Department Investigator Sgt. Jody Scott says a local woman was arrested last night just after 7:00 PM for burglarizing a vehicle.
40 -year -old Lakeshia E. Crittenden of Andalusia was arrested and charged with one count of breaking and entering a vehicle.
Sgt. Scott stated the victim observed the suspect going through his vehicle and called police. Before officers arrived, Crittenden left the scene on foot.
She was stopped a short distance away from the scene. Crittenden is being held in the Covington County Jail under $10 thousand dollars bond.
Sgt. Scott would like to remind citizens to make sure you lock you vehicle, even in your own driveway. Do not leave items laying in the seats or floor that can be seen. Put them in the trunk or take them out.
