J.C. Penny Closing As Many As 140 stores
No word on the fate of stores in Alabama,
The locations to be shuttered won’t be revealed till March, with employees being told first.
There are stores in Montgomery, Prattville, Andalusia and at a dozen more locations across the state.
The Selma location was closed in 2013…one of 33 closed in that round of closings.
