Judge Sets $500,000 Bond for Man Accused of Killing Mother
A judge has set bond for $500,000 for a man accused of killing his 68-year-old mother in northeast Alabama.
The Gadsden Time reports (http://bit.ly/2mfNdgr ) that 48-year-old Larry Bodily remains jailed in Cherokee County on charges of murder and third-degree theft.
He was charged Sunday after the body of his mother, Karen R. Willmon, was found. Court records show that he’s also accused of stealing a credit card and a guitar from her.
Cherokee County Chief Investigator Josh Summerford, the preliminary autopsy report indicated that she died from multiple gunshot wounds and blunt force head trauma.
