Local Chefs Face Off in Culinary Fight Club

Local chefs heated things up Monday night as they faced off in Culinary Fight Club.

It’s a cooking competition that is taking place in cities across the U.S.
Top local chefs have 45 seconds to get all of their ingredients and then one hour before presenting their dishes to the judges.
The chefs all had to incorporate chocolate into their dishes, as well.
Chefs made everything from seared scallops to cocoa encrusted pork loins.

Food Network Star Chef Jernard Wells hosted the event.
He says the money raised from the event also goes back to a non profit organization “Fight2Feed.”

“We go out and we feed anybody who’s hungry. And that’s been our mission from day one. And we travel all around the world. To this day, we fed over 30 thousand hungry people, and by October of this year, we plan on feeding 50 thousand in one day across the United States,” said Wells.

Congratulations to Chef Cameron Hodge of A &P Social for winning Culinary Fight Club with his seared scallops. He will go on for the chance to compete on a national level.
