MCSO Investigating Pike Road Homicide
Montgomery County Sheriffs Office responded to a call of a vehicle fire off Marler Road in Pike Road. There they found a body in the trunk of the burning car.
The fire was immediately put out by volunteer fire fighters.
The early morning death has now been ruled a homicide by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials confirmed the victim was 35-year-old Brandon Burton.
