Tuskegee Man Captured, Charged with Capital Murder

The Tuskegee Police Department and Macon County Sheriff’s Department has notified CrimeStoppers that Michael Anthony Norris has been taken into custody.

Norris was suspected of shooting 19-year old Kentavious Deon McDaniel.

Norris was arrested on Thursday, February 22, on County Road 45 outside of Tuskegee by members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force, Tuskegee Police Department, and the Macon County Sheriff’s Office.

He was taken into custody without incident, according to Police Chief Lester Patrick. Norris has been officially charged with Capital Murder and Attempted Murder.
