Road Closings in Elmore County Starting Monday
The Elmore County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has been advised that CSX will begin working on various rail crossings in Elmore County, beginning Monday, March 6, 2017.
Each road listed below will be closed at the rail crossing anywhere from two to four days at a time while the work is being completed. Roads will be closed from 6AM to 5PM each day work is being performed on the railroad crossings.
For roads/crossings that are not “one way in/one way out,” CSX will set up detours allowing temporary alternative access. Those individuals with “one way in/one way out” access will be notified in advance by CSX and given an opportunity to relocate their vehicles to the other side of the crossings in order to not be inhibited from departing these areas once work begins on the crossings.
