MPD Officer Arrested on Menacing Charge

A Montgomery police officer has been arrested over the weekend.

James Stewart was the officer arrested. He has since been placed on leave pending the resolution of this matter.

According to the courts, Stewart was arrested on a menacing charge (misdemeanor).  His 1st court date is scheduled for September 25th.

Steweart joined the force in 2008.
