UPDATE: Suspect Identified in Ozark Police Officer Shooting

The suspect accused of shooting an Ozark police officer has been identified as 23-year-old Bradley Cutchens

Authorities haven’t released the name of the officer who was wounded in Thursday night’s shooting, but Mayor Bob Bunting says the officer is in “very critical” condition after being shot in the face.

We’re told the officer was answering a call when Cutchens opened fire. Authorities say the suspect was killed when the officer and other police returned fire.

State police are investigating.
