Two Men in Custody After Chase Ends in Montgomery

Two men are in custody after a chase ended on Madison Avenue in Montgomery.

Wetumpka Police say an officer attempted to stop a vehicle around 8:00AM because the tag was showing the vehicle’s owner had felony warrants.

Lt. Ella Roberts says the chase started on Highway 14 in the town of Elmore, where it ultimately made its way onto 65 South and continued into Montgomery before the vehicle wrecked near Capitol Parkway and Madison Avenue.

One of the male suspects has been charged with attempting to elude, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and resisting arrest. The other suspect is charged with possession of paraphernalia.

Thankfully, there were no injuries.
