21-Year-Old Woman Dies Sunday from Injuries in Zelda Road Crash on Saturday
The Montgomery Police Department is investigating a Saturday morning traffic collision that resulted in one fatality.
On Saturday, June 6, around 1:49 AM, MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 2700 block of Zelda Road on a single vehicle traffic collision. The driver, Alquesha Farris, 21, of Montgomery, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
On Sunday, June 7, Farris was pronounced dead as a result of her injuries.
The initial investigation indicates the 2007 Honda Accord was traveling northbound on Zelda Road, at which time left the roadway and collided with a tree.
At this time, there is no additional information available for release in connection with this continuing investigation.
